When to use

Use in small groups or as a whole group. Use when you are still generating a high quantity of ideas

How to use

Prepare by thinking about global leaders, market competitors and current trends relevant to your challenge. Then ask: ‘What if XXX was doing this project?’ each answer should go on a new Post-it.

Your 'What if' questions can be provocative, best in class, or borrow from other charities. This is similar to the brainstorming cards but you are coming up with the stimuli so it can be more specific to your problem.

Examples:

‘What if Apple were the sponsors of the London Marathon?’ -

or ‘What would a corporate partnership look like between Mind and the Conservative Government?’

or ‘What would Stadium Stair Climb look like if Macmillan owned it?’
