1 - Assumptions Map

What is it

A simple approach to discussing the key assumptions you have and a tool to help prioritise which ones you need to collect evidence for.

When to use it

Before you think about how you’re going to experiment, use this template to agree on what questions you need to answer to prove the potential of your idea.

Top tip - Assumptions are the things that need to be true for the idea to work. They should be as specific as possible - instead of ‘will it make money for Mind’, it might be “can we drive traffic to the Mind website and get people to click ‘donate’".
